This is a recipe that bakes extra soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies. you have to try them out to believe me.
* 1/2 cup of butter
* 3/4 cup of brown sugar
* 1/4 cup of white sugar
* 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
* 1 egg
* 3 tbsp of water
* 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
* 3/4 tsp of baking soda
* 1/4 tsp of salt
* 1/2 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips
In the first step of this chewy chocolate chip cookie recipe, we will prepare the batter. Prepare a large mixing bowl and add in the butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Beat the mixture until the butter and the sugar are well mixed. Next, add the vanilla and egg white into the batter. Continue to beat the mixture together while adding in the water. After adding in the water, sift the flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl. Add the sifted flour mixture into the batter in small portions. Beat them well to give you the cookie dough. Finally, add in the chocolate chips and stir them evenly into the cookie dough.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and prepare two greased cookie sheets. Using a teaspoon to scoop the cookie dough and drop them on the cookie sheets. They dough should be placed two inches apart from each other. Next, press on the cookie dough to make them flat. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes. You should see the top layer of the cookie forming a golden brown crispy appearance after ten minutes. Let the cookie cool on the cookie sheet for one minute. Transfer them onto the cooling rack to cool completely before storing them in air tight containers. They can be stored up to one week.
