Its rare a that a bench press actually breaks, but if it does when your lifting something heavy, you could get seriously injured. Get a bench press, and get a good amount of weight. If you buy these two things you’ll be able to train your chest, biceps, triceps, shoulders and several other muscles depending on how you use the bar. Make sure to have someone nearby in case you need a spot. Last thing you would want to do is squish yourself.
