They are foolproof recipes, just use the exact ingredients and follow the instructions and your chocaholic frinends won’t leave your house anynmore.
Ingredients for 20 small truffles:
- 200g / 7 oz milk chocolate
- 100g / 3½ oz black chocolate
- 125ml / 4 fl oz double cream
- 50g / 1¾ oz butter, finely diced
- 25g/ 1 oz sugar
- ¼ glass of rum
- 1 tsp bitter cocoa
Finely chop the black and the milk chocolate and mix them together
In a small pan, mix together cream, butter and sugar, and bring it to the boil on a very low heat
Take off the stove and add the chocolate, let it melt in the hot mix.
When the chocolate mixture has cooled completely, add the rum and put it in the fridge for one hour.
Pick some mixture with a teaspoon, form a small ball with your hands, then dust it on the cocoa. Lay the truffles on paper ramekins and serve at room temperature. These truffles can also be the real death by chocolate if used as chocolate fountain dippers.
